NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th November, 2009
G.S.R. 820(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951, (61 of 1951) the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir hereby makes the following rules futher to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007, namely :-
- (i) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Fourth Amendment Rules, 2009.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. - In the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007:-
In “Schedule II-A posts carrying pay above the time scale of pay of the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments”, in the table, for the entry “JAMMU AND KASHMIR” occurring in the first column and corresponding entries in the second column, the following shall be substituted namely :-

(b) In “Schedule II-Part B” Posts carrying pay in the senior scale of the Indian Adminisrative Service under the State Governments including posts carrying special pay in addition to pay, for the entries occurring under ‘Jammu and Kashmir’, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
Deputy Commissioners
Director, Industries and Commerce
Director, Consumer Affiars and Public Distribution Secretaries/Special Secretaries/
Additional Secretaries to Government
Labour Commissioner
Settlement Commissioner
Additional Deputy Commissioners
Additional District Development Commissioners
