The Department of Personnel and Training has issued an Office Memorandum regarding the inclusion of Shri P.S. Moorthy, an Assistant in the Ministry of Urban Development, in the Select List of Assistants for the year 1989. This decision comes after a judgement by the Hon’ble CAT, Hyderbad Bench, which directed to restore Shri Moorthy’s seniority. Consequently, Shri Moorthy’s name will be inserted at Sl. No. 598A, between Shri D.R. Bhorwal and Shri Hari Babu Deepak. Further actions are being taken to include his name in the Select List of Section Officers’ based on his eligibility.

Subject: Inclusion of name of Shri P.S. Moorthy, Assistant in the SCSL of Assistants for the year 1989 .
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No. 6/11/98-CS.I (Vol.II) dated $20^{\text {th }}$ April, 2004 vide which the SCSL of Assistants for the year 1989 was circulated. 2. The Hon’ble CAT, Hyderabad Bench in its judgement dated $17^{\text {th }}$ December, 2008 in OA No. 193/2007 in the case of Shri P.S. Moorthy Vs UOI has directed to restore the seniority of Shri P.S. Moorthy, Assistant in the Select List of Assistant for the year 1989. 3. Accordingly, after consultation with Ministry of Law, it has been decided to include the name of Shri P.S. Moorthy, Assistant of the Ministry of Urban Development at Sl. No. 598A between Shri D.R. Bhorwal (Sl. No. 598) and Shri Hari Babu Deepak (Sl. No. 599) as given below:
