  4. The seniority of the officers included in the aforesaid Select List, will be in the same order in which their names have been recommended for inclusion, irrespective of actual dates of their appointment to the Selection Grade.

  5. In terms of Rule 2(c) (iii) of CSS Rules, approved service in the grade of Deputy Secretary will count from 1st July of the Select List Year.

  6. In terms of CSS Regulations, 2010, an eligible officer for inclusion in SGSL should have successfully undergone such mandatory training programme as may be prescribed under Cadre Training Plan of DoPT.
