Subject: IMPLEMENTATION OF JUDGEMENT OF HON’BLE SUPREME COURT IN CIVIL APPEALS NOS. 6046-6047 OF 2004 TITLED “ROHTAS BHANKHAR AND ORS. VS. UOI & ANR” – REGARDING

The undersigned is directed to say that in compliance with the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in above Civil Appeals, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has modified the results of SOs/Stenos (Grade B/Grade I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), 1996.

  1. Accordingly, with the approval of the competent authority, the following appellants in the above Civil Appeals, who have now been declared qualified in the SO LDCE 1996 by the UPSC, are included in the SO SL 1996 against Examination quota in the following order:
