ORDER

Consequent upon appointment to the IAS from State Civil Services officers of Odisha cadre on the basis of inclusion of their names for the Select List 2021 vide this DoPT Notification No. 14015/17/2022-AIS (I) -B dated 25th November, 2022 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Odisha vide letter No. GAD-SER1-IAS-0002-2022-34318/AIS.I dated 2nd December 2022, the Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage works out as under:-

1. Select List – 2021 (SCS Category) (Prepared against vacancies arisen between 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2021)

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 13 of Select List of 2021 (SCS category) shall be placed below Shri Surendra Kumar Meena, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Shri Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, the promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS category, SL 2016) of 2012 batch of Odisha cadre. 3.
