ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers from State Civil Services of Meghalaya segment of Joint Assam-Meghalaya Cadre to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s notification No. 14015/28/2017-AIS-I (B) dated 5.12.2017 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Meghalaya vide their letter No. PER.6/2016/Pt/92 dated the 8.12.2017, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time:-

- Seniority/year of allotment of officers at SI. No. 1 to 5 in the Select List of 2016 has been restricted in terms of provision to Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987. 2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 5 of the select list of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Maham Singh Lhuid, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch (SL 2015) and above Shri Cyril V. Darlong Deingdoh, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Meghalaya Segment of Joint Assam -Meghalaya Cadre
