ORDER
Consequent upon appointment to IAS of Non-State Civil Service officers of Punjab Cadre on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2020 vide this Department’s Notification No.14015/18/2021-AIS-(I)-B dated 14.03.2022 and on receipt of proposal from the State Government of Punjab vide their letter No. 05/02/2021-IAS(7)/581 dated 08.06.2022, the Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time and relevant rules and formula:-

No. 1 in the Select list 2020(NSCS) shall be placed below Shri Karnail Singh, junior most Promotee IAS officer of 2015 batch (Select List 2019-SCS category) and above Ms. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, senior most RR IAS officer of 2016 batch of Punjab cadre.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 2 in the Select list 2020(NSCS) shall be placed below Shri Gautam Jain, junior most RR IAS officer of 2017 batch and above Shri Varjeet Walia, senior most RR IAS officer of 2018 batch of Punjab cadre.
3. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
