Subject: Holding election of the Managing/Executive Committee of the RWAs for the block year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023-instructions regarding.
Sir/Madam,
I am directed to refer to this Department’s letter of even number dated 31.08.2021 on the above-mentioned subject and to say that this Department had directed that elections of all CGERWAs under ambit of DoPT be completed till 31.10.2021. In case, CGERWAs fails to complete the excercise within the prescribed date, new ad-hoc Managing Committees shall be formed w.e.f. 1^{st } November, 2021.
- It has been observed that a few CGERWAs did not conduct elections and still representing as authorised CGERWA which is illegal and contrary to the direction given by this Department.
- Area Welfare Officers are directed to submit the status report of CGERWAs who have not yet completed election and if so whether new ad-hoc Managing Committee has been formed or not. The report may also include reasons for not complying with the directions given by this Department. Status Report shall be submitted within 15 days for the date of issue of the letter.
- This issues with the approval of Chief Welfare Officer.
