Subject: Section Officers Select List (SOSL) of CSS against Seniority Quota for the year 2019 and 2022 – Grant of Proforma Promotion – regarding.
Consequent upon their inclusion in the Section Officers Select List for the year 2019 and 2022 vide this Department’s order No. 6/6/2022-CS-I(S) dated 04.06.2022 and 6/14/2022-CS-I(S) dated 30.06.2022 and in terms of extant instructions, proforma promotion is granted to the following officers who are presently on deputation as under:-

- Shri Surendra Nath Swain has been repatriated/relieved from AllMS Bhubaneshwar vide order dated 02.08.2022.
- As Shri Surendra Nath Swain, the immediate junior to Shri Subhranil Bhattacharya in the Zone of Promotion for SOSL (SQ)-2019, was also on deputation hence Shri Subhranil Bhattacharya is granted proforma promotion w.e.f. the date of promotion of Shri Deepak Nagpal, Section Officer, MHA who is immediate junior to Shri Surendra Nath Swain in the Zone of Promotion for SOSL (SQ)-2019.
- The Ministries/Departments/cadre units from where the above officers proceeded on deputation are requested to notify the grant of proformapromotion to these officers w.e.f. the date of promotion of their immediate juniors, as indicated in column 7 above and also inclusion of these officers in the respective SOSL (SQ)-Zone, subject to vigilance clearance and other conditions specified in the respective promotion orders for the Select List year.
