Government of India decision on Shri Pradeep Kumar Agarwal’s allocation to Uttarakhand

G

This communication from the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, addresses the representation of Shri Pradeep Kumar Agarwal, a PCS officer currently posted as Special Secretary in Uttar Pradesh. His request for allocation to Uttarakhand, based on his domicile, was considered by an Advisory Committee. The committee noted that while Mr. Agarwal was allocated to Uttar Pradesh in 2003, he only submitted his request for a change in allocation in 2009. Consequently, the committee recommended rejecting his representation due to it being time-barred. The Government of India has accepted this recommendation, and Mr. Agarwal’s allocation to Uttar Pradesh remains unchanged. The letter is addressed to the Chief Secretaries of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and copied to relevant officials in both states.
