This notification concerns the ex-post facto approval for the premature repatriation of Shri Saurabh Jain, an IAS officer, from an inter-cadre deputation in Uttarakhand back to his parent cadre. The period from October 14, 2010, until he rejoins his parent cadre will be treated as a ‘waiting for posting’ period, with salary and allowances to be paid by the Government of Uttarakhand. This period will also count towards the ‘cooling off’ requirement for future deputations. The officer is directed to rejoin his parent cadre within 15 days from February 25, 2011.

Notification
In continuation to this Department’s Notification No.13017/34/2007-AIS(I) dated 15.01.2007, the Central Government has decided the following: –
(i) Ex-post facto approval for the premature repatriation of Shri Saurabh Jain, IAS(KL:02) on inter-cadre deputation from Uttarakhand to his parent cadre.
(ii) Treatment of the period from 14.10 .2010 till the date of joining back to his parent cadre be treated as “waiting for posting” period with Government of Uttarakhand and Government of Uttarakhand would pay salary and allowances, as admissible, for this period.
(iii) Counting of the above period i.e. period from 14.10 .2010 till the date of ACC orders, for the purpose of ‘cooling off’ for further deputations.
2. Further, it is also directed that the officer must rejoin his parent cadre within 15 days from 25-2-2011.
