This official notification, published in the Gazette of India, announces the approval for Dr. K.S. Palanisamy, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from Tamil Nadu, to change his name. Effective from the date of this notification, Dr. K.S. Palanisamy will officially be known as Dr. K.S. Palanisamy (Palanisamy) for all government purposes. This change is made in accordance with a previous notification dated August 02, 2010. The notification also details the distribution list, indicating that copies have been forwarded to the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu, the Secretary of the Union Public Service Commission in New Delhi, and Dr. K.S. Palanisamy himself.

दिनांक 02 अगस्त, 2010 की अधिसूचना सं. 14015/21/2009-अभासे(I)-ख के तहत भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में नियुक्त डॉ. के.एस. पलानीसामी आईएएस (तमिलनाडु) को अपना नाम डॉ. के.एस. पलानीसामी (Palanisami) से परिवर्तित कर डॉ. के.एस. पलानीसामी (Palanisamy) करने की अनुमति दी जाती है। तदनुसार, सभी सरकारी प्रयोजनों से उन्हें डॉ. के.एस. पलानीसामी (Palanisamy) के रूप में जाना जाएगा।
