Government Decision on Shri Mahesh Kr. Mishra’s State Allocation and Service Matters

G

A significant administrative decision has been made regarding a public servant’s allocation following a state reorganization and subsequent service matters. This case stemmed from a High Court directive, prompting a thorough review of the individual’s representations. The officer in question had put forth several arguments, including a claim of promotion to a specialized Sub-Inspector post and personal medical grounds. A dedicated State Advisory Committee meticulously examined these submissions. Their findings revealed that the claimed promotion was honorary rather than a substantive one, and the personal medical reasons did not fall within existing guidelines for such administrative reallocations. Consequently, the Committee recommended rejecting the request to revise the officer’s allocation to Uttar Pradesh. The government, after careful consideration, has endorsed this recommendation, confirming the officer’s continued allocation to the successor State of Uttarakhand. This decision underscores the meticulous process involved in managing personnel within the civil services, especially in contexts of state administrative changes and judicial oversight.
