साआ.नि. 660(अ).—राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, मूल नियमावली में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए पंहस्यों, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :-

  1. (1) इन नियमों का नाम मूल (संशोधन) नियमावली, 2007 है।
  2. ये नियम शासकीय राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे।
  3. मूल नियमावली में नियम 56 के खण्ड (घ) में पांचवें परन्तुक के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित परन्तुक अन्तःस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :-

“चशर्ते यह भी कि, केन्द्रीय सरकार यदि सचिव, अंतरिक्ष विभाग और सचिव, परमाणु ऊर्जा विभाग की सेवा की ऐसी अवधि या अवधियों, जैसा भी उचित समझा जाए, के लिए 66 वर्ष की अधिकतम आयु की शर्त पर सेवा में विस्तार प्रदान करना, लोकप्रिय में आवश्यक समझती है तो यह ऐसा कर सकती है।”

MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS (Department of Personnel and Training) NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th October, 2007
G.S.R. 668(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Fundamental Rules, namely :-

  1. (1) These rules may be called the Fundamental (Amendment) Rules, 2007.
    (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
  2. In the Fundamental Rules, in Rule 56, in clause (d), after the fifth proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :-
    “Provided also that the Central Government may, if considered necessary in public interest so to do, give extension of service to the Secretary, Department of Space and the Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, for such period or period is it may deem proper subject to a maximum age of 66 years.”.
