With reference to Government of Nagaland letter no. PAR-1/37/80 -AIS dated $8^{\text {th }}$ October 2012, fixation of seniority/year of allotment of the officers appointed to IAS by promotion from the Select List of 2008 and 2009 vide this Ministry’s notification No. 14015/16/2009-AIS-I(A) dated $6^{\text {th }}$ August, 2010, has been considered. It has been observed that for the year 2006 there was no vacancy and hence there was no select list of 2007. The seniority/year of allotment has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time, till date and is as shown in column no. 08 of the following table:-

- As per Rule 4 of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at Sr. No. 1 and 2 above shall be placed enblock below Shri Y.L Jami the Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2003 batch of Nagaland Cadre of IAS (appointed on the basis of Select List of 2008) and above Shri Dinesh Kumar, the senior most Direct Recruit IAS officer of 2004 batch of Nagaland Cadre of IAS.
