ORDER

The Government of Maharashtra vide their letter no. AIS-1515/CR 231/2015/X dated 7.4.2015 has requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS by promotion (against SCS quota) on basis of Select List of 2012 vide DOPT’s notification No 14015/41/2014-AIS-I(B) dated 27.3.2013. The same has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage formula is given below:-

  1. 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 8 of the select list of 2012 shall be placed below Shri A.B. Misal, Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2004 batch and above Shri Shravan Pramod Hardikar, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2005 batch of Maharashtra cadre.
  2. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
