ORDER
The Government of Karnataka vide their letter no. DPAR 148 SAS 2013 dated 21.11.2013 have requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of the four officers who were appointed to IAS by promotion from the Select Lists of 2008-A and 2009 vide this Ministry’s notification 14015/46/2012-AIS(I)-B dated $21^{\text {st }}$ October 2013 by interpolating their names at appropriate place. Besides they have mentioned that year of allotment of Shri A.M. Kunjappa, who was appointed to IAS on the basis of SL of 2008 has not been fixed. The seniority/year of allotment of five officers have been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. Details are indicated in the following table:-

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 7 of the above table shall be placed enbloc below Shri V. Ponnuraj, the junior most DR IAS officer of 2000 batch of Karnataka cadre.
2.2 As per proviso to Rule 3(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, year of allotment of officer of SI. No.3 viz Shri Shri G. S. Shivaswamy in the above Table has been restricted.

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officer at SI. No.1 \& 2 shall be placed enbloc below Dr. J. Ravi Shankar, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2001 batch and above Dr. (Smt) N. Manjula, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2002 batch of Karnataka Cadre of IAS. 3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 the officers whose names are indicated at SI No. 3 to 13 of the above table shall be placed enbloc below Dr. (Smt) Shamla iqbal, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2002 batch and above Shri D. S. Viswanath, promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS category) of 2002 batch of Karnataka Cadre of IAS. 3.3 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 the officer whose name is indicated at SI No. 14 of the above table shall be placed below Shri Manoj Kumar Meena, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2003 batch of Karnataka cadre of IAS.
4.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officer at SI No. 1 shall be placed below Shri H.S. Ashokananda, the promotee IAS officer of 2003 batch and above Dr. R. Vishal, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2004 batch of Karnataka Cadre of IAS.
4.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers at SI No. 2 to 5 shall be placed enblock below Smt. Gunjan Krishna, the Junior most RR, IAS officer of 2004 batch.
4.3 As per proviso to Rule 3(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, year of allotment of officers of SI. No. 1 in the above Table has been restricted.
5. Earlier order of even no. dated $9^{\text {th }}$ July 2013 stands superseded to the above extent.
6. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
