ORDER

The Government of Karnataka vide their letter no. DPAR 481 SAS 2015 dated 24.1.2017 have requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS from Non-SCS category for the Select List year 2014 vide this DOPT’s notification No. 14015/11/2014-AIS(I)-B dated 22.06.2015.

1. The seniority/year of allotment of the officers appointed to IAS under Non-SCS category for Select List year 2014 has been computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

1. Select List-2014 (Against vacancies arisen between 1.1.2013 to 31.12.2013) (Non-SCS category)

3.1. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 of the select list of 2014(Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri K.P. Mohan Raj, junior RR IAS officer of 2007 batch and above Smt. Khushboo G. Chowdhary senior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch of Karnataka cadre.
3.2. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 2 to 6 of the select list of 2014(Non-SCS) shall be placed below Shri M.K. Sreerangaiah, junior most promotee IAS officer (SCS category) of 2010 batch and above Shri Abhiram G. Sankar, senior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch of Karnataka cadre.
