The Government of Gujarat vide their letter no. AIS/16.2012/43672/G dated 4th April 2013 and AIS/20-2013/91631/G dated $8^{\text {th }}$ February 2013 have requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS by Selection from the Select List of 2010 and 2011 (Non-SCS category) vide this Ministry’s notification No. 14015/06/2009-AIS(I)-B dated 29.04.2011 and notification No. 14015/06/2011-AIS(I)-B dated 15.5.2012 respectively. The same has been computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. Details are indicated in column no. 8 of the table, which follows:-

Select List-2010 (Non-SCS category

No. 1 and 2 of the select list of 2010 shall be placed below Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, the junior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2006 batch and above Ms. Remya Mohan Moothadath, the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2007 batch of Gujarat cadre.
2.1 Seniority of officer at Sl. No. 2 in the above table have been restricted under proviso to Rule 3(3(iii) of the said Rules.

  1. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at Sl. No. 1 of the select list of 2011 shall be placed below Shri Sandip Janardan Sangle, the junior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2007 batch and above Shri Udit Agrawal, the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2008 batch of Gujarat cadre.
