The Government of Gujarat vide their letter no. AIS/10-2013/311251/G dated $6^{\text {th }}$ May 2013 has requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of officers, who were appointed to IAS by Selection (against SCS quota vacancies) from the Select List of 2011 vide this Ministry’s notification No 14015/06/2012-AIS-I dated 21.3.2013 has been considered. The same has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Details are given in the following tables:-

As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at Sl. No. 1 to 10 of the select list of 2011 shall be placed below Shri Shri K.D. Chandani, the Junior most promotee IAS officer of 2005 batch and above Shri Ajay Kumar, the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of Gujarat Cadre of 2006 batch.
3. The above order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
