ORDER
The Government of Chhattisgarh vide their letter no. E-1-2/2017/1/2 dated 18.8.2017 have sent a proposal for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of IAS officers appointed on promotion from SCS category on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2016 vide Notification No. 14015/05/2017-AIS-(I)B dated 10.8.2016.
- The Seniority/year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is now as under:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 4 of the select list of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jha, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2011 batch and above Shri Shiv Anant Tayal, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 5 to 9 of the select list of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Pushpendra Kr. Meena, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Ms. Namrata Gandhi, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
