This document details the computation of seniority and year of allotment for IAS officers promoted from the 2008-A and 2009 Select Lists. The calculations are based on Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended. The document provides a table listing officers, their dates of holding rank, completed years of service, total weightage, year of allotment entitled, and the name/year of the officer immediately senior to them. With reference to State Government’s letters no. E-1/20/2009/5/I dated $4^{\text {th }}$ August, 2011 and $28^{\text {th }}$ February, 2012 (inadvertently written as 2011), the question of fixation of seniority/year of allotment of the officers who were appointed to IAS by promotion from the Select Lists of 2008-A and 2009 vide this Ministry’s notifications No. 14015/03/2009-AIS(I)-B dated 01.08 .2011 and 18.01 .2012 has been considered and the same has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended from time to time, till date and is as shown in column no. 08 of the table, which follows:-

SCS (Select List-2009)
- Year of allotment restricted to in view of the provisions as contained in proviso below rule 3 (3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as an officer appointed to IAS from an earlier Select I ist or senior in the same select list has been awarded that year of allotment to which the seniority of the instant officer has been restricted.
- As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at Sr. No. 1 and 2 for the Select List of 2008A shall be placed enblock below Sh. Mathuresh Babu Ojha, IAS (SCS: 2001), so far the junior most SCS:IAS officer of 2001 batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre of IAS and above Sh. N.S. Bhatnagar, IAS (Non- SCS: 2001) so far the junior most IAS officer of 2001 batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre of IAS.
2.1 Further, the officers whose names have been mentioned at Sr. No. 3 to 11 for the Select List of 2008A and at Sr. No. 1 for the Select List of 2009 shall be placed enblock below Sh. Borkar Chandrashekhar, IAS (RR: 2002), so far the junior most IAS officer of 2002 batch and above Dr. Sanjay Goel, IAS (RR:2003) so far the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2003 Batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre of IAS.
2.2 Further, the officers whose names have been mentioned at Sr. No.2 to 5 for the Select List of 2009 shall be placed enblock below Sh. Dhaneshwar B. Patil, IAS (RR: 2003), so far the junior most IAS officer of 2003 batch and above Sh. Raghuraj M R, IAS (RR:2004) so far the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 2004 batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre of IAS.
- The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
