ORDER
The Government of Maharashtra has sent proposal vide letter no.AIS-1016/C.R.447/2016/X dated 18.7.2016 for fixation of seniority / year of allotment to the officers appointed to IAS from Non-State Civil Services on the basis of inclusion of their names in select list for the year 2015 (against vacancies arisen between 01.01 .2015 to 31.12 .2015 . The officers have been appointed to IAS by DOPT vide notification no. 14015/14/2016-AIS-(I)-B(2) dated 8.7.2016.
2. The Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, as amended vide notification no.14014/4/2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2016 and other relevant rules. Modified Weightage formula is now as under:-

- The seniority /year of allotment officer at SI. No. 3 is restricted as per proviso to Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 1987.
3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2015 shall be placed below Shri M.S. Kalashetti, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (Non-SCS category of SL of 2013) and above Ms. Sampada Suresh Mehta, senior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch of Maharashtra Cadre.
3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 2 to 3 in the Select List of 2015 shall be placed below Shri A.N. Karanjkar, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 (SCS category of SL 2015) batch and above Shri Shelesh Nawal, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Maharashtra Cadre.
