North Block, New Delhi Dated the $16^{\text {th }}$ October, 2014 ORDER The Government of West Bengal vide their letter no. 1598/HR/IAS/5C-26/12 dated 25.7.2014 has sent a proposal for fixation of seniority of officers who have been appointed to IAS vide notification No. 14015/24/2012-AIS-I(B) dated $24^{\text {th }}$ April 2014 on the basis of inclusion of their name in the select list of 2012(SCS category). The same has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

Pritha Sarkar, junior most promotee (SCS category) IAS officers of 2003 batch and above Shri P.M.K.C. Gandhi, senior most RR IAS officer of 2004 batch of West Bengal cadre.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 8 to 15 of the select list of 2012 shall be placed below Shir Jagdish Prasad Meena, junior most RR IAS officers of 2004 batch and above Ms. Smita Pandey, senior most RR IAS officer of 2005 batch of West Bengal cadre.
2.3 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 16 to 24 of the select list of 2012 shall be placed below Shri Shubhanjan Das, junior most RR IAS officers of 2005 batch and above Shri Randhir Kumar, senior most RR IAS officer of 2006 batch of West Bengal cadre.
3. The seniority /year of allotment of officers at SI. No. 17 to 24 of the above Table has been restricted as per proviso of the Rule 3(3) (iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 1987
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officer.
