ORDER
The Government of Gujarat vide their letter no. AIS/16.2016/214599/G dated 5.4.2016 have sent a proposal for fixation of seniority of IAS officers appointed on promotion from SCS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the select list of 2015. These officers have been appointed to IAS vide this Department’s notification No. 14015/06/2016-AIS-I(B) dated 1.4.2016.
2. The Seniority /year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage works out:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 11 of the select list of 2015 shall be placed enbloc below Shri M. Nagrajan, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch and above, Dr. Gaurav Dahiya, senior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch of Gujarat cadre.
4. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
