This document details the fixation of seniority and year of allotment for Shri Arun, who was appointed to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) through selection from the 2002 Select List. With reference to State Government’s letter no. 1/C-204/2012-Pers. $30542^{\text {nd }}$ April 2012, the question of fixation of seniority/year of allotment of Shri Arun, who was appointed to IAS by Selection from the Select List of 2002 vide this Ministry’s notification No. 14015/26/2011-AIS(I)-B dated 11.02.2012 has been considered and the same has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 as amended from time to time and is as shown in column no. 12 of the table, which follows:-

- As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, Shri Arun shall be placed below Shri Vijay Kuamr Singh, IAS (SCS: 1995) so far the junior most IAS officer of 1995 batch and above Ms. Vandana Dadel, IAS (RR: 1996), so far the senior most direct recruit IAS officer of 1996 Batch of Jharkhand Cadre of IAS.
