The Government of Madhya Pradesh has sent a proposal vide their letter No. E-1/464/2015/5/I dated 4.7.2016 for fixation of seniority / assigning the year of allotment of the officers appointed vide this Department Notification No.14015/13/2016-AIS-(I)B dated 01.07.2016 to IAS from State Civil Service (SCS category)on the basis of inclusion in select list of the year 2015.
2. In view of the above, the seniority/year of allotment of above officers has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

  • Seniority /year of allotment of officers in the select list of 2015 has been restricted under proviso to Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rule, 1987.
    3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 3 of the Select List of 2015 shall be placed below Shri Deepak Singh, the junior most promotee IAS officer (SCS category) of 2007 batch (SL of 2014) and above Shri Sanjay Gupta, promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS category) of 2007 batch (SL of 2014-A) of Madhya Pradesh Cadre.
    3.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 4 to 9 of the Select List of 2015 shall be placed below Smt. Surabhi Gupta, the junior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch and above Shri Shamimuddin, promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS category) of 2008 (SL of 2014-A) batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre.
