ORDER
Consequent upon receipt of a proposal from the State Government of Uttar Pradesh vide their letter No.1461/2-1-2020-29-1(1)/2019 dated 11.09.2020 for fixation of seniority / assigning the year of allotment to the officers appointed to IAS from State Civil Service on the basis of inclusion of their names in Select List 2019 (against vacancies arisen between 01.01.2019 to 31.12.2019) vide DOPT Notification No. 14015/22/2020-AIS (I)-B dated 31.08.2020, the seniority /year of allotment of the officers has been computed under rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

2.1. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List 2019 shall be placed below Dr. Vandana Verma, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2013 batch (appointed on the basis of Select List of 2018) and above Ms. Neha Jain, senior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre.2.2. As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 2 to 22 in the Select List 2019 shall be placed below Shri Sandeep Kumar, junior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch and above Ms. Nidhi Gupta, senior most RR IAS officer of 2015 batch of UP cadre.
