The Government of Tamil Nadu vide their letter no. 697/Spl. A2/2015-1 dated 26.03.2015 has requested for fixation of seniority/year of allotment of Smt. Asia Mariam appointed to IAS by promotion (SCS officers) on basis of Select List of 2012 vide this DOPT’s notification No 14015/38/2014-AIS-I(B) dated 22.1.2015. Seniority of IAS officers appointed on the basis of Select List of 2012 has already been fixed vide notes at pages 33-34/ante and order at pages 182-183/c. State Government has also requested to fix the seniority /year of allotment of officers appointed to IAS for the Select lists of 2013 (SCS officers) vide notification_No. 14014/21/2014-(I)-B dated 18.3.2015. The same has been considered and computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant Rules as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules, weightage formula is as under:-

1. Seniority /year of allotment have been computed as under:-

Select List of 2012 (Against vacancies arisen between 1.1.2012 to 31.12.2012)

• Placed at SI. No. 2A of Select List of 2012, below Shri S. Suresh Kumar and above Shri R. Kanan.

1. 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned above at SI. No. 1 of the select list of 2012 shall be placed below Shri S. Suresh Kumar, promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch of Tamil Nadu.

2. Select List of 2013 (Against vacancies arisen between 1.1.2013 to 31.12.2013)
