Attached is a copy of reply given by AIS-I Section of this Department pertaining to RSUSQ No. 463 of 23.02 .06 . In this connection, an Assurance has been given in respect of part (c) of the Question, which is reproduced below :
‘The percentage of officers in various services and posts in the Central Secretariat belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes’
- All Ministries/Departments are requested to provide information on the above pertaining to CSS officers of Deputy Secretary/Director grades as on 23.02 .06 so that the consolidated information is made available to AIS-Section for filling up of the Assurance.
