The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) is initiating a felicitation program for Sports Persons within Central Government Ministries and Departments. This initiative marks the Board’s 50th anniversary and aims to recognize individuals who have participated in or achieved success at Inter-Ministry Tournaments and All India Civil Services Tournaments. Ministries and Departments are requested to nominate eligible sports persons by October 29th, 2014, based on their representation or achievements in events like the Olympics, Asian Games, National Games, and CCSCSB-organized tournaments. The criteria include participation in international events or achieving top positions in national and All India Civil Services tournaments.

CIRCULAR
Subject: Felicitation of Sports Persons by Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board.
The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board is the nodal agency for promotion of Sports and Cultural activities amongst Central Government Employees. It is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and working under aegis and control of Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
- On the occasion of completion of 50 years of its existence, the CCSCSB has decided to felicitate Sports Persons working in the Ministries/Departments and eligible to participate in Inter-Ministry Tournaments and All India Civil Services Tournaments. The criteria for selection of the Sports Persons would be their representation/achievements at following levels:

| 1. | International Events such as Olympic, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, SAF Games etc.(excluding Veterans events) | Participation |
| 2. | National Games or equivalent | 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in individual event or member of Champion Team. |
| 3. | All India Civil Services Tournaments organized by CCSCSB. | 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in individual event for 3 years or member of Champion Team for 3 years. |
- In view of the above, it is requested that Ministries/Departments may recommend names of Sports Persons working under them and fulfilling the above criteria to the CCSCSB by 29th October, 2014.
