This office memorandum details the extension of validity for the existing order regarding the local purchase of stationery and other articles from Kendriya Bhandar, NCCF, and other Multi-State Cooperative Societies with majority Central Government shareholding. Initially valid until March 31, 2013, and then extended to March 31, 2014, the order’s validity has been further extended for six months, effective April 1, 2014. This extension was approved by the competent authority and issued with the concurrence of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure. All Ministries and Departments are instructed to bring this update to the attention of all concerned parties.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Local purchase of stationery and other articles from Kendriya Bhandar, NCCF and other Multi-State Cooperative Societies having majority shareholding by the Central Government.
Attention of the Ministries/Departments is invited to the Department of Personnel and Training’s O.M. No. 14/12/94-Welfare (Vol.II) dated 5.7.2007 on the above subject. It is stated that the validity of the O.M. dated 5.7.2007 beyond 31.3.2013 was extended with the approval of competent authority for a period of one year i.e. upto 31.3.2014 vide O.M. No. 14/1/2009-Welfare dated 07.03 .2013 .
2. The validity of the O.M. No. 14/12/94-Welfare (Vol.II) dated 5.7.2007 has been further extended with the approval of the competent authority for a period of six months w.e.f. 01.04 .2014 .
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure vide their I.D No.26/2/2013-PPD dated 03.04.2014.
4. The contents of this Office memorandum may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
