Please refer to my earlier DO letter of even number dated 25th March, 2022 conveying grant of relaxation in time up to 31st May, 2022 to organize All India Civil Services Tournaments which could not be held in the year 2021-22 due to covid-19 pandemic. A copy of my earlier DO letter is enclosed.
- On the request received from some quarters, it has been decided to grant further extension of 15 days i.e. up to 30th June, 2022 to organize the remaining AICS tournaments.

In case any State/UT Government/RSB is willing to organize the following games uptill the period of 30th June, 2022, the same may please be informed on email ID: kb.malhotra@nic.in.

Dear Madam/Sir,
Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB), is the Central Agency for promotion of Cultural & Sports Activities amongst Central Government employees in the country. It works under the aegis of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
- CCSCSB, in collaboration with State Government, Union Territory and Regional Sports Boards organises All India Civil Services Tournaments (AICS) in various disciplines every year. These tournaments are open to the civilian employees of the Central & State Governments/Union Territory Administrations. These tournaments not only provide opportunity to the Central Government and State Government employees to meet and interact with each other in the field of Sports, but also help in fostering a spirit of national integration. However, due to spread of COVID-19 pandemic the following AICS tournaments could not be conducted during 2021-22:-

- The matter has been considered and it has been decided to grant relaxation uptill 31st May, 2022 to conduct remaining AICS Tournaments. The eligibility criteria for participation of players in the tournaments shall remain unchanged. The tournaments may be organised by State Governments, Union Territories and Regional Sports Boards by following the appropriate covid protocols issued by Central Government/State Government from time to time.

- I shall, therefore, be grateful if you could kindly accept hosting one/two or more AICS Tournaments in your State/UT till 31st May, 2022 while observing all Covid-19 guidelines issued by Central/State Governments.
