The Central Government has extended the term of the State Advisory Committee Chairman for Uttar Pradesh, Shri Vishwanath Anand (retired IAS officer), for an additional six months, starting from July 1, 2005. This extension is in continuation of previous orders and aims to support the government in its functions related to state government employees, excluding those in All India Services. The terms of the Chairman’s appointment remain unchanged.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s order of even number dated 18th March, 2005, the Central Government is pleased to extend the term of the State Advisory Committee, Uttar Pradesh under the Chairmanship of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS UP:1965 – Retired) to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions with regard to the State Government employees, other than All India Services, for a further period for six months from 1st July, 2005 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of the appointment of the Chairman shall remain unchanged.
