The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Ms. Sudha Rani Relangi’s tenure as Director of Prosecution in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The extension is granted for a period of two years beyond August 19, 2021, or until further orders, whichever comes first. This decision has been officially communicated to various departments, including the CBI, Legislative Department, CVC, and the Prime Minister’s Office.
