Extension of Last Date for Applications: Secretary (JS Level) – National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions

This document details a series of circulars regarding the filling of the Secretary (JS level) position at the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI). The initial call for nominations, issued on April 29th, June 2nd, and July 8th, 2025, has been repeatedly extended – most recently to October 25th, 2025. All nominations must be submitted through the DoPT online interface (SUPREMO) and correspondence routed via specified email addresses. Physical applications are not accepted. The position requires officers who have been empanelled to hold Joint Secretary or equivalent posts and are eligible under the Central Staffing Scheme.

It is proposed to fill up the post of Secretary (JS level), National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), New Delhi under the Department of Higher Education with pay at Level 14 (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-) of the Pay Matrix on deputation basis vice Shri Manoj Kumar Kejrewal, CSS.

  1. Names of willing and eligible officers, who have been empaneled to hold Joint Secretary or equivalent posts at the Centre under the Central Staffing Scheme may be recommended to this office along with cadre clearance, vigilance clearance and detailed bio-data through SUPREMO link: https://supremo.nic.in. In case the officers are currently on deputation outside the cadre, the nomination may be forwarded with the approval of the competent authority/Minister-in-charge concerned.

  2. The last date for submission of application for the above referred circular is 12.05.2025.
