NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Gujarat and Bihar, the Central Government hereby accords approval for extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, IAS (GJ:2008) from Gujarat cadre to Bihar cadre on personal grounds for a period of two years beyond 07.01.2021 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

  1. The Chief Secretary, State Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar 382010 w.r.t. letter No. AIS/35.2020/42/G dated 20.07.2020.
  2. The Chief Secretary, State Government of Bihar, Patna – 800015 w.r.t. letter No. 1/P-1003/2014-GAD – 5961 dated 22.06.2020. It is requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter-cadre deputation. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action \& break in Service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
  3. The Accountant General, State Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar -382010 .
  4. The Accountant General, State Government of Bihar, Patna 800015 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
  5. Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, IAS (GJ:2008) (through the Chief Secretary, State Government of Bihar, Patna – 800015). You will be liable to disciplinary action \& break in service in terms of DOPT O.M. No.13017/08/2002-AIS.I dated 14.08.2013 read with O.M. No.13017/05/2013-AIS.I dated 11.11.2017 in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
