Extension of Inter Cadre Deputation for Shri M H Khan, IAS

E

In a significant move reinforcing adaptive governance, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of a seasoned Indian Administrative Service officer’s inter-cadre deputation. Shri M H Khan, an IAS officer from the 1988 batch, will continue his service in the Uttarakhand cadre for an additional year, extending his tenure beyond April 10, 2014. This decision allows for the continued leveraging of his experience, originally drawn from the Manipur-Tripura cadre, to bolster administrative functions in Uttarakhand. Such strategic personnel movements are crucial for fostering cross-state collaboration, sharing diverse administrative expertise, and ensuring continuity in key governmental roles, ultimately contributing to more robust and responsive public service delivery.
