Extension of Inter-Cadre Deputation for IPS Officer Shri N. Sridhar Rao

E

A recent decision by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted a significant extension to the deputation of a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. Shri N. Sridhar Rao, an officer originally belonging to the Sikkim cadre, will continue his service in the Andhra Pradesh cadre for an additional two years. This extension goes beyond his previously approved three-year period and was specifically approved on grounds of personal hardship. This move ensures the continuity of his role and service within Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the government’s consideration for personnel management. Key government departments, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Chief Secretaries of both Sikkim and Andhra Pradesh, have been informed of this crucial personnel development.
