The competent authority has approved the extension of the deputation tenure of Shri Vijyendra Kumar, IRS:2007, who serves as DIG at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The extension is for one year beyond July 19, 2024, effectively continuing his tenure from July 20, 2024, until July 19, 2025. This extension will bring his total deputation period to eight years or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. The order has been communicated to the Director, Central Bureau of Investigation, the Central Vigilance Commissioner and will be filed.
