The Competent Authority has approved the extension of the deputation tenure of Shri Abhay Singh, an IPS officer (MP:2002) serving as DIG in the CBI, for an additional year. This extension covers the period from June 30, 2020, to June 29, 2021, bringing the total tenure to five years. Copies of the order have been sent to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Under Secretary at MHA, and the Guard File.
