The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training has approved the extension of deputation tenure for Shri Pranav Kumar, IPS (WB:2003), serving as Superintendent of Police. The extension is for the period from December 20, 2016, to December 19, 2017, marking his fifth year, in accordance with the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010. This approval has been conveyed to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi. Copies of this order have been sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, DS(Police) at MHA, the Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website, and for the Guard File.
