The Competent Authority has approved the extension of deputation tenure for Shri Asif Jalal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, CBI. This extension is for a period of three years, commencing from April 5, 2014, and concluding on April 4, 2017. The decision has been communicated to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi. Copies of this approval have also been sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Director (Police) at MHA, and the Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) website, along with the relevant file and guard file.
