Subject: Appointment of Chief Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s Advertisement No. 4/1/2025-IR II dated $21^{\text {st }}$ May, 2025 vide which applications were invited for appointment of Chief Information Commissioner in the Central Information Commission with the last date of receipt of the applications as 20.06.2025.
2. It has now been decided, with the approval of the Competent Authority, to extend the last date of receipt of the applications for appointment of Chief Information Commissioner in Central Information Commission up to $30^{\text {th }}$ June, 2025 (5:00 PM). The terms and conditions and other eligibility criteria of the service of the Chief Information Commissioner shall remain the same.
