Extension of Appointment for State Advisory Committee Chairman

The Central Government, in accordance with Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000, has extended the term of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS 1965 UP – Retired) as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee. This extension, effective from July 1, 2002, is for a period up to September 30, 2002, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first. The terms and conditions of his appointment remain unchanged. This decision aims to support the Central Government in its functions related to State Government employees, excluding those in All India Services. The order is a continuation of a previous order dated March 15, 2002. Copies of this order have been sent to the Chief Secretaries of Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, as well as to Shri Vishwanath Anand himself.

ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s orders of even number dated 15.03.2002, the Central Government is pleased to extend the term of appointment of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS 1965 UP – Retired), as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions in regard to the State Government employees other than All India Services for a further period up to 30.09.02 w.e.f./01.07.02 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of his appointment would remain unchanged.
