An order has been issued by the Central Government to extend the tenure of Shri Vishwanath Anand (Retd. IAS) as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee. This extension, effective from the original appointment date and continuing from previous orders dated December 30, 2003, will allow him to assist the government in its functions related to State Government employees (excluding All India Services). The extended period is until March 31, 2005, or until further orders are issued, with the terms of his appointment remaining the same.

ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s orders of even number dated 30.12.2003, the Central Government is pleased to extend the tei r of Appointment of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS, UP:65 – Retired), as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions in regard to the State Government employees other than All India Services for a further period up to 31.3.2005 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of his appointment would remain unchanged.
