An official order has been issued extending the tenure of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS UP:65-Retd.) as the Chairman of the State Advisory Committee. This extension, granted by the Central Government in accordance with Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000, is effective from January 31, 2005, and will last until June 30, 2005, or until further notice, whichever comes first. The terms and conditions of his appointment remain unchanged. The order also includes instructions for the Chief Secretaries of Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, as well as Shri Vishwanath Anand himself, to be informed.

ORDER 18 MAR 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 76 of the Uttar Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2000 and in continuation of this Department’s orders of even number dated 31.1.2005, the Central Government is pleased to extend the term of Appointment of Shri Vishwanath Anand (IAS UP:65-Retd.) as Chairman of the State Advisory Committee, to assist the Central Government in discharging its functions in regard to the State Government employees other than All India Services for a further period up to 30.6 .2005 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The terms of his appointment would remain unchanged.
