The Central Government has extended the tenure of the Advisory Committee responsible for the bifurcation of posts and personnel between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This committee, chaired by Shri C. R. Kamalanathan, will now continue its work until December 31, 2016. The composition and terms of reference for the committee remain unchanged. The order was issued by the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, P.G. & Pensions, and copies have been circulated to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the PSO to the Secretary (P).

ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 80 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 and in continuation of the order issued vide even number dated 21.03.2016, the Central Government hereby extends the tenure of the Advisory Committee for bifurcation of posts and personnel (other than All India Services), between the successor States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, under the Chairmanship of Shri C. R. Kamalanathan, upto 31.12.2016
2. The composition and terms of reference of the Advisory Committee shall remain the same.
3. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
