Extension of Ad-hoc Promotion/Appointment of Stenographers to Principal Private Secretaries

This Office Memorandum details the extension of the term of ad-hoc promotions/appointments of Stenographers Grade ‘A’ & ‘B’ (merged) as Principal Private Secretaries (PPS). The extension applies to officers listed in the Annexure, up to December 31, 2008, or until regular PPS appointments are made. The document references previous OMs regarding these promotions and states that existing terms and conditions remain unchanged. A comprehensive list of officers and their details is provided in the annexure, including their date of birth, date of regular appointment, and current cadre.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject:- Extension of the term of ad-hoc promotion/appointment of Steno. Grade ‘A’ \& ‘B’ (merged) (Rs. 6500-10500) as Principal Private Secretaries (Rs. 10000-15200) of CSSS – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.Ms of even number dated 17.12.2007, 24.1.2008, 4.3.2008, 17.4.2008, 26.5.2008 \& 24.6.2008 through which ad-hoc promotions to the posts of PPS were made/continued upto 30.6.2008 and to say that the question of extending the term of these ad-hoc promotions/appointments has been considered in this Department and it has been decided to extend further the term of ad-hoc appointments of officers, as shown in the Annexure, upto 31.12.2008 or till regular PPSs become available or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
2. Other terms and conditions laid down in the above referred OMs will remain unchanged.
