The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of Shri Sharad Agarwal, IPS (AGMUT:1997), as Joint Director at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The extension is for a period of one year beyond May 31, 2022, completing a total of seven years, or until further orders are issued.
